DuBois Chemicals

DuBois Chemicals was founded in 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. In 1960, it became a listed company and in 1970, it became a leading manufacturer of cleaning agents in the United States, expanding its business globally. In the 1990s, after several mergers and acquisitions, DuBois Chemicals became the business unit of Morrison, Unilever, and Johnson, and later became an independent company through privatization in 2008. After a hundred years of development, DuBois Chemicals has become a world leading chemical manufacturer with annual sales of $600 million.

Cimcool

Cimcool brand was founded by the Cincinnati Milacron Group in 1945, with the ideal of providing corresponding lubricating additives for the rapidly developing metal processing technology to continuously improve production efficiency. After 75 years of development, based on understanding the actual lubrication requirements of the process, and benefiting from the close cooperation between multiple departments such as machine tools, cutting tools, grinding wheels, molds, etc., Cimcool currently has a rich product line that meets the process requirements of metal cutting, forming, cleaning, rust prevention, etc., widely used in civil and military industries such as automotive manufacturing, aerospace, military equipment, medical, sports equipment, consumer electronics, etc.

  

1884    The predecessor of Milacron, Cincinnati Tools, was established in Cincinnati, United States.

1889    Company name is changed to The Cincinnati Machine Tool Company.

1911    Company moves to new facility in Oakley Industrial Park.

1926    Due to the demand of automobile industry, the company began to produce precision grinder.                  Soon, Cincinnati machine tools became famous in the United States.

1945    Set up Cimcool metalworking fluid department.

1948    Cimcool has developed the world's first synthetic metalworking fluid.

1954    With the establishment of Cincinnati Holland, Cimcool began to expand its business in Europe.

1966    Production of injection molding machines under the brand "Milacron" was started.

1971    The company changed its name to "Cincinnati Miracron" to represent the brand of machine                      tools and injection molding machines.

1998    Renamed Milacron International.

1998    Milacron Korea was founded  (now Cimcool Korea).

2009    Cimcool has established R&D center and production base in Shanghai.

2013    Milacron International acquires Master Mould, a global leader in hot runner technology

2019    Hillenbrand acquires Miracron Group.

2020    DuBois Chemicals acquires Cimcool's global business.

Today  DuBois Chemicals Group specializes in: cleaners, industrial lubricants, surface treatment                            Chemicals, heat treatment and quenching media, food lubricants, water treatment Chemicals, paper Chemicals.
